Meet The Founder
Hey, I’m Tyler, the founder of Retake Green. Honestly, I never thought I’d be starting a company in high school. But one moment completely changed the way I saw things.
One summer, my friends and I were swimming at our favorite creek—a place that always felt pure and untouched. But that day, something was different. Plastic bags and trash were floating in the water, stuck in the trees, littered along the shore. It wasn’t just annoying—it was heartbreaking. This place, where we laughed, explored, and made memories, was being ruined right in front of us.
That night, I couldn’t shake the feeling. I started researching plastic pollution and realized how much damage something as simple as a plastic bag can cause. It felt overwhelming, but I knew I had to try to do something. So, I started Retake Green—not just to sell a better trash bag, but to take real action against plastic waste.
I’m just a teenager who cares about the planet and wants to protect the places we all love. I know I can’t fix everything, but I believe small choices matter. And together, we can make a difference.
Thanks for being part of this journey with me. Let’s do better for the planet, one step at a time.
